PAPASVI CHANYAM
Pterois (2017)
Wandering around inside the aquarium, I was impressed by the poise and the striking
appearance of one particular sea creature: the lionfish. I figured how its intimidating impression and its outlandish pattern would make a perfect aesthetic for someone with a role such as a chief of an indigenous tribe.
Thus, a headwear and a necklace were
designed as accessories and a symbol of power for my imaginary chief of some faraway seaside tribal community.
